I think that marriage should be considered a school. A body ought to get some recognition for all the learning that takes place! I figure that someone married for, say, ten years qualifies for a BA. Someone married for twenty-five years gets an MA. Married for fifty years qualifies one for a PhD and after that it's all post-doc. Eight months in, I haven't even graduated from pre-school!
